The Millennium Galleries : is the venue for visual arts, crafts and design located right in the heart of Sheffield. There are four individual galleries with wonderful treasures of the past and masterpieces from Britain’s national collections and also new creations. The gallery built on two levels has an internal avenue, which leads from the entrance on the Arundel Gate to the Winter Garden.
Special Exhibiton Gallery : a wide range of major blockbuster exhibitions takes place for tourist to enjoy national and international masterpieces.
Craft and Design Gallery : being the largest place for exhibition in the region, it displays excellent work of past masters and new work by contemporary makers. The works by local and regional makers are some of the best national and international designers are on display or sale.
Metal Work Gallery : the decorative silverware and metal works are internationally renowned as world leaders. The city’s metalworking trade dates back to 14 th century and still over 1,000 unique items of important collection is on display.
The Ruskin Gallery : the gallery houses collection of minerals, paintings, drawings, ornithological prints and medieval manuscripts collected by John Ruskin. St. George owns the gallery and maintained by Sheffield Galleries & Museum Trust.
Site Gallery : which is based within the city’s Cultural industries Quarter is the leading international contemporary art venue.
Cupola Gallery : the highly regarded private gallery and sculpture garden in Hillsborough displays and sells works by local and international artists.
Graves Art Gallery : the 19 th and 20 th century British and European important works of arts and also retrospective exhibition complementing the permanent collection.
Yorkshire Sculpture Park : located on the grounds of an 18 th century country estate also includes a modern gift shop, restaurant, play area and exhibition space.
Kelham Island Industrial Museum : Sheffield city’s history, culture and industrial heritage (steel capital of UK) is well reflected by the museum.
Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet : covers local history and displays the metal works done and used since 1200 A.D.
Bishop’s House : built in the 1500 th century the oldest half-timbered surviving house gives a tantalizing flavor of Tudor and Stuart England. The house provides a wonderful view of the city from its sheffield on top of the Meersbrook Park.
Birley Spa : the hidden historic and architectural gem in a tiny ravine is the only remaining Victorian Spa in northern England. Tourist can enjoy the tour of the bathhouse and the wooden grounds, which are open throughout the year.
