It is small, beautiful and channel island of Guernsey is a popular holiday destination. The place is full of medival age castles, historic castles and WW II bunkers.
The place is home to a number of museums, Neolithic burial moulds, medieval turret castles and lovely beaches. The Hauteville House, the stately home of Victor Hugo. The Guernsey Museum and the Art Gallary is situated in the grandiose terraced Victorian Candie Gardens. St. Peters also offers the best in shopping (Tax Free) and home to best nightlife options with theatre, classical concerts, cinemas, bar and resturant.
The island is small, with only 50 square mile to travel and touring in a car is ideal.
The tourist spots can be easily located with many beaches and the old De Sausmarez
Manor with it’s surrounding beautiful gardens and parks. Ferry services are available for visiting the neighbouring islands which is a days trip to Herm, Sark and Alderney. The island has important travel links with European cities and Northern France.
